The Award office has confirmed that there will be a Gold Award Ceremony on 15 February 2012.

Please RSVP as soon as possible if you would like to, or are able to attend as an usher.

Edit: Ushers will need to arrive by 6:30 pm at the latest. 6:00 pm is the preferred arrival time.

Volunteering to raise the profile of the Award - December 2011

If you are interested in volunteering as an "Award Team" during December, please contact one of the executives the forums. If there is enough interest in this type of activity, we may be able to register as a volunteer group.

Volunteering to raise the profile of the Award

At the Extraordinary meeting it was suggested that the GAS engage in activities to raise the Profile and media image of the Award. More recently, I received a suggestion to volunteer as an organization at a “soup kitchen” on Thanksgiving, as a possible activity. I have spoken with the Award Office, and they agreed this may be a good idea.

The BC and Yukon Division will be hosting 2 Award Ceremonies / Award Presentations in the next few months. One is a Bronze Award Ceremony in the Lower Mainland (October), and the other is a Silver Award Ceremony (November).
