Welcome to the NEW goldaward.org

When the first incarnation of the Gold Award site was launched back in 1992 it was mainly just an experiment.

It grew again in 1994 to support the new online activities of the Gold Award Society.

Then in 2002 it grew again - this time to become an interactive user based site that drew attention world wide. However, all the code being used at that time was in the early development stages.

In keeping with that tradition of growing with the times (or perhaps being just slightly ahead) the all new goldaward.org is here. It builds on the code developed in 2002 but since then it has matured and it´s time for this site to reap the benefits!

As a result we have completely upgraded the back-end of this web-site, adding a photo gallery, improved forums, on-line chat, events calendar display, categorized news, and more as time goes on.
