Lower Mainland - Award Field Officer

Vancouver, BC, Canada

The Duke of Edinburgh's Award program continues to grow throughout our Division - we now have 7,200 participants. In 2005 we had 655 Awards earned, an 8% increase over the previous year - this year we expect another increase.

In order for the Award program to continue to grow it has been decided that we should again employ a part time Award Field Officer in the Lower Mainland. If you should know of anyone who would be interested please ask them to send their CV / Resume to the Award office by December 22nd - it is planned to fill this position early in the New Year.

Applicants should include comments on the following:
Willingness and ability to make presentations to leaders and participants.
    Own vehicle.
    Good computer skills
    Flexible hours
Make phone calls during the day and in the evening
Assist in promoting the Award program

Pay would be $12 per hour - some expenses would also be covered.  There would be flexibility in the days / hours worked depending on the available of the individual, visit / presentation arrangements and funds available - initially 16 to 20 hours / week on average.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

All the best
